Suspected of having stabbed his mother to death, a 24-year-old man was arrested Thursday in the village of Saint-Didier-de-la-Tour in Isère.
A 24-year-old man was arrested Thursday, suspected of having stabbed his mother to death in an apartment in the village of Saint-Didier-de-la-Tour (Isère), we learned from the Bourgoin- Jallieux.
The alert was given around 5:30 a.m. Thursday by the suspect's sister, a teenager who, injured, took refuge with neighbors.
The young man allegedly stabbed their 45-year-old mother several times, who was found dead by the emergency services in the family apartment, the prosecution told AFP.
The young man, who had then left the scene and was wandering the streets, was later arrested by the gendarmerie.
The Bourgoin-Jallieu prosecutor's office has opened an investigation.
