Simultaneous seizure and search in August 2019, blitz indictment during the personnel hearing in September.

Two years and five months after the investigation began, the Supreme Court gave a final verdict on the charges of corruption in the entrance examination of former professor Kyung-shim Jeong.

The Supreme Court maintained the lower court's judgment that the so-called 'seven major specifications', such as the citation of the president of Dongyang University, which was used for her daughter Jo Min's admission to Seoul National University and Pusan National University, and internships at Gongju University and Dankook University, were false or falsified.

In today's (27th) trial, the issue was the ability of the Dongyang University PC to prove forged documents of the president's citation and the president's seal.

Professor Jeong's side argued that the PC had no evidence because the owner, Professor Jeong, did not participate when the prosecution confiscated and analyzed the PC, but the Supreme Court found that the PC had been left in the lecturer's lounge for nearly three years, and Professor Jeong used it briefly in the past. Therefore, it was decided that the ability of evidence would be recognized even if it did not participate in the prosecution's seizure and analysis.

He was also found guilty of using undisclosed information to buy stocks of WFM, a secondary battery developer, on the stock exchange, and for instigating evidence hiding through an asset manager.

He was acquitted on charges of embezzling Kolink PE funds and of reporting false information about Blue Fund to the Financial Services Commission.
