Rogozin reacted to the statement of the US Embassy on the issuance of visas to astronauts

Earlier, RIA Novosti reported that the United States authorities refused to issue a visa to Russian cosmonaut Nikolai Chub without explanation.

Rogozin expressed hope that the denial of a US visa for a Russian cosmonaut is a misunderstanding that Washington can still correct.

Rogozin also announced his intention to request NASA's position on the incident.

Later, the US embassy said the legation was making every effort to continue issuing visas to astronauts in Russia even with a limited staff.
