The authorities then asked the Metz motorway CRS to set up a "mobile plug" a little further on the A31, which allowed them to arrest the teenager.
The latter, a 13-year-old minor, obviously without a driving license, was placed in police custody before being released.
He is summoned in the coming weeks before the juvenile judge.
His toxicology tests were negative.
According to L'Est Républicain, the young motorist took big risks to try to escape the police, driving up to an estimated speed of 170 km / h before being blocked by the mobile stopper.
His car, without insurance and devoid of technical control, would have been lent to him by a friend.
Three passengers were with him in the car.
