A letter left by Seongnam Urban Development Corporation Director Kim Moon-ki, who died while under investigation into Daejang-dong suspicion, was released to the construction president. Director Kim complained that he had proposed three times to include a provision for recovering excess profits in the Daejang-dong business agreement, but that was not reflected.

Kim Moon-gi, director of Seongnam Urban Development Corporation, was found dead last month after being interrogated by the police several times as a reference.
In mid-October last year, as the investigation continued, the bereaved family released a handwritten letter written by Director Kim to the president of the construction company.
In a letter titled 'A letter of appeal to the president,' Director Kim complained that during the Daejang-dong project, 'Three times, it was proposed to insert an excess profit that exceeded the standards set by the company, but it was not reflected'.
Director Kim also complained, 'At that time, the executives made decisions according to the guidelines of the competition and the bidding plan, and they did their best according to those decisions, but it is becoming as if I had committed an illegal act under instructions.'

Seongnam City On May 27, 2015, a week before the signing of the agreement between the Development Corporation and Seongnam Garden, the provision for recovering excess profits proposed by the working-level team including Director Kim disappeared within 7 hours of the proposal.
Director Kim's letter did not specifically mention the process or the names of executives that did not reflect the redemption clause.
The bereaved family also released a request for a disciplinary decision from the corporation, which was delivered to Director Kim on the day of his death in relation to the leak of internal information.
The bereaved family argued that the reason for the extreme choice was that they were only working according to the guidelines, but were subjected to intense investigations and even disciplinary action without legal assistance from the corporation.
