The court ruled that most of the phone calls of Kim Gun-hee, the spouse of the presidential candidate Yoon Seok-yeol, can be released on the YouTube channel 'Open Empathy TV'.



Part 50 of the Civil Agreement of the Seoul Central District Court cited a part of Kim's application for an injunction against broadcasting and distribution against Open Gonggam TV.



The court rejected all of Kim's applications except for conversations related to the private life of Mr. Kim and his family that were not related to the public domain, and conversations between three parties that did not include Lee Myung-soo, a reporter for Seoul's Sound.



Previously, Myeong-soo Lee, who was in charge of filming on the YouTube channel 'Sound of Seoul', said that he recorded the conversation with Mr. Kim and announced that he would release the recorded content in collaboration with MBC. , each applied for an injunction against Open Sympathy TV.



The recording file, which has been the subject of public debate, is a recording of Mr. Lee's conversations with Mr. Kim over the course of several months, and the total length is known to be 7 hours and 45 minutes.



Kim's side claimed, "The recorded file was acquired through political manipulation and is not included in the protection of freedom of the press."
