Medical expenses are provided to students who experienced severe adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine but did not receive compensation.

The Ministry of Education said that if a serious adverse reaction occurred within 90 days of inoculation among students under the age of 18, but was excluded from compensation because the medical causality was not recognized, it will provide up to 5 million won for complementary medical expenses.

This support is for students who have received more than 300,000 won in co-payments for medical expenses, regardless of symptom type, and who have been rejected by the vaccination damage compensation deliberation.
