We checked whether this is true or not.

I wrote that most of the expenditures of the Ministry of Leisure are subsidies from the state treasury, supporting ideological-biased subsidies.

In fact, when the team analyzed the budget of the Ministry of Leisure last year, government subsidies accounted for 87% of the total budget of the Ministry of Leisure.

That's an overwhelming number.

However, looking at where the government subsidies were spent, most of them were sent down to 17 local governments.

Let me give you an example.

Do you know the childcare support project for dual-income couples?

Even if the local government executes it, the central government pays up to 70% of it, and the money is sent down from the leisure department to the local government.

More than 90% of the government subsidy from the Ministry of Recreation was spent in this way.

In addition, there are contents such as that there are close to 700 cases of fraudulent receipt of government subsidies given by the Ministry of Recreation, that is, subsidies from the Ministry of Recreation, and a serious waste of tax.

First of all, this is true.

In 2020, there were 682 cases of fraudulent payment of government subsidies by the Ministry of Leisure.

However, this is a common problem not only for the leisure department, but also for welfare departments.

In fact, when the team calculated the number of cases detected by each department as a percentage of the total number of cases of illegal receipt of government subsidies, the leisure sector ranked 1.4% and 5th among ministries.

Illegal receipt of government subsidies seems to be a task that all government departments, including the Ministry of Recreation, urgently need to solve.
