67-year-old Mo Park has been taking 'Paxrovid' for three days from the 15th.

I was prescribed medication the day after I was diagnosed with COVID-19 symptoms.

[Mo. Park/Pax Lovid user: At first, I had a cold, a sore throat and body aches. So my muscle pain was a bit severe, but today is the 3rd day and the muscle pain has subsided a bit... .]

Appetite decreased somewhat.

[Park/Paxrovid user: There is no major problem, but after taking the medicine, my mouth is very bitter, and my mouth is bitter all day.]

Another user said that the medicine is bitter.

[Kim Bu-gyeom / Prime Minister: Because they say that it tastes like bitter gourd when you were young.] The

problem is to filter out drugs that should not be taken together with oral medications.

There are 28 ingredients, but it is not easy for patients to identify them because they are the name of the ingredient, not the name of the drug.

[Jeong Kyung-wha / Hana Otolaryngology Hospital Specialist: Because the patient did not know the name of each medicine, I asked him to take a picture of all the medicines he was taking, including nutritional supplements, and send them to me.]

There are also drugs that are not captured by the medical computerized system.

[Lee Sang-deok / Director of Hana Otolaryngology Hospital: Due to the system in which concomitant contraindications cannot be administered, it is called DUR.

It is filtered there, but only prescription drugs are filtered out.

Over -the-counter medicines are not filtered.]

In order to maximize the administration effect, you must follow the 12-hour interval.

However, it is not easy because most of the patients who are taking the drug are elderly people over the age of 65.

[Jung Kyung-wha / Hana Otolaryngology Hospital Specialist: (Dose of time) I make a total of four calls back and forth.

There aren't many patients right now, so we might be able to do it one by one.

If you download the app, you can set an alarm (requires a device to do it)]

By yesterday (16th), 39 people received a prescription for Paxrovid.

The government said that no reports of suspected side effects have been received yet.
