The health authorities are conducting an epidemiological investigation as elementary school students in Daejeon, who ate a lunch box from the same company, and students in an affiliated kindergarten show symptoms of group food poisoning.

According to the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education, elementary and kindergarten students who ate Company A's high-rice lunch box for lunch in the classroom after school on the 13th showed symptoms such as diarrhea and abdominal pain.

So far, it has been counted that 68 people in 8 schools and 2 affiliated kindergartens show symptoms of food poisoning.

Health authorities are conducting epidemiological investigations by collecting samples from students and food leftovers.

Company A has been suspended from business, and these schools are planning to substitute home lunches or convenience meals for lunch.

An official from the Daejeon Office of Education said, "Company A delivered lunch boxes to 17 schools and annexed kindergartens, but there were no problems in the remaining 9 places." .
