A video of dozens of people running backwards on an escalator to buy Nike sneakers sold on a first-come, first-served basis has been released and is causing controversy.



On the 14th, a video titled 'Daegu Shinsegae Nike Jordan Golf Open Run Video (not China)' was uploaded on YouTube.

The same video was uploaded to other social media such as TikTok and spread rapidly.



The video is said to contain people running towards the Nike Golf Store on the second floor of the Shinsegae Department Store in Daegu.

There were even people running backwards on the escalator going up and running at high speed.



On that day, Nike sold the 'Air Jordan 1 Low G' with a list price of 179,000 at 40 stores nationwide on a first-come, first-served basis, and it is said that a large number of people flocked to buy it from all over the country.

The shoes are known to be sold for 700,000 won in a resale transaction.
