treatment for Corona 19, which came into Korea yesterday (13th), is being prescribed to patients from today. In the case of home treatment, the public health center brings medicine, but there was confusion because the system was not properly equipped in some living treatment centers.

A box containing Pfizer's 'Pax Lovid' was delivered to the pharmacy from the delivery vehicle.

After signing the receipt, the pharmacist takes out the medicine and moves it to a storage area.

[Corona drug pharmacy pharmacist: One box is for 5 days. It's supposed to not be subdivided unless there is something special.]

Pfizer's edible drug, Paxrovid.

This Pax Lovid, which first entered Korea, was delivered to pharmacies and living treatment centers across the country, of which 12,700 out of the first 21 million units were delivered.

Most of the remaining 8,300 people are in storage in case the number of confirmed cases increases.

Subjects undergoing home treatment receive prescriptions from the doctor in charge, dispensing at the pharmacy, and then delivered from public health centers, pharmacies, and family members.

[Jeong Won-young / Incheon Bupyeong-gu Public Health Center Supervisor: Delivered to the front of the patient's house by using the public health center vehicle. After hanging the medicine in front of the door, I contacted the patient and said, 'The medicine has been delivered.']

The first administration was given to a man in his 70s living in Daejeon around 8:00 pm.

A day after the symptoms of coughing, the diagnosis was confirmed and the medicine was delivered to the home.

There were also medical institutions where the prescription of Paxrovid was stopped.

In order to prescribe, you need to check the safe drug use service, DUR, which records the patient's past prescription history.

However, this is because some living treatment centers do not have this system installed.

It is estimated that 20 out of 89 living treatment centers across the country failed to prescribe medication.

The quarantine authorities said that living treatment centers that do not have DUR installed will first prescribe them through a partner hospital, and that they will complete the system installation within this week.
