A former HR manager who was involved in fraudulent recruitment, such as manipulating test taker scores during the Kookmin Bank recruitment process, has been sentenced to death.

The second part of the Supreme Court confirmed today (14th) the lower court sentenced to one year in prison for Mr.

Kookmin Bank was investigated by the prosecution for allegations of recruitment irregularities, such as managing the so-called 'VIP list' and providing preferential treatment to relatives of top management.

Oh and others were accused of raising the evaluation scores of 113 male applicants and lowering the scores of 112 female applicants in the first half of 2015 for the purpose of increasing the percentage of male applicants in the recruitment process for new employees.

There is also an allegation of manipulating the interview scores of 28 people, including 20 solicited people, in the second interview screening, and of allowing 20 of them to pass through fraudulent methods.

In the second half of 2015 recruitment of new employees and the hiring process of interns from 2015 to 2017, it was found that hundreds of applicants were selected for solicitation by manipulating the scores of the document screening and interview screening.

1 Shim was found guilty of the misappropriation of Mr. Oh, but she was sentenced to 1 year in prison and 2 years of probation, saying, "She has no reason to believe that she has obtained economic benefits, and she committed the crime in the process of following wrong practices." .

Mr. Oh appealed on the grounds of misunderstanding the facts and the law, but the second trial judge sentenced him to prison sentence and arrested him, saying, "Even though the crime is not good, he is not reflecting on his crime."

Former Vice President Lee and former Vice President Kwon were sentenced to 1 year in prison and 2 years of probation in the first and second trials, and former Head of Department Kim was sentenced to 10 months in prison and 2 years of probation, respectively.

A fine of 5 million won was imposed on Kookmin Bank, which was tried along with its executives and employees, in accordance with the penalty provisions for violating the Equal Employment Opportunity Act.
