A franchise cafe has sparked controversy by putting a yellow sticker on a coffee mug ordered by an unvaccinated customer.

Yesterday (13th), an article was posted on an online community that a franchise cafe had attached stickers of different colors depending on whether or not they were vaccinated.

The author said, 'I went to a cafe and a part-timer asked if they had been vaccinated, and those who received the vaccine gave green and those who did not receive a yellow sticker,' and posted a photo of a coffee cup with a yellow sticker.

I also disclosed the answers I received when I inquired about the cafe's headquarters.

The headquarters explained that 'there was no discriminatory intent', saying, 'The quarantine pass was visually clarified and stickers were distributed for continuous management in the store.'

Among the netizens who saw the article, critics said, 'Isn't the sticker color discrimination in itself?' and 'I understand that if an unvaccinated person comes alone and then meets someone and joins them, the owner will have to pay a fine of 1.5 million won.' There were also opinions in favor of it.
