It turns out that most of the people involved in the police investigation after the collapse of the I-Park apartment building in Gwangju Hyundai Development Company claimed that they "constructed normally".

According to the Gwangju Police Agency's 'Gwangju Seo-gu New Apartment Collapse Accident Investigation Headquarters' today (14th), the police have booked and investigated the head of the I-Park site, and are securing the statements of additional witnesses.

It is known that the on-site director A (49) was initially charged with negligence, but as a result of the confirmation, the police first applied the charges of violating the building law to Mr. A. policy.

During the police investigation, Mr. A denied the allegations, saying "the construction was proceeding normally."

It is also said that most of the other references did not acknowledge the connection with the collapse.

The two superintendents said in the investigation of the witness that "they were supervised and supervised normally," but it is necessary to secure additional supervision-related documents to prove this at the office inside the accident site, where access is controlled for safety reasons.

It is reported that the three related contractors (subcontractors) that were seized and searched on the 12th also stated that "the construction was done according to the instructions of the original agency and the supervisor, and there was nothing wrong."

The police plan to conduct a full-scale investigation into the cause of the accident, including conducting a joint investigation after the on-site safety measures are completed and the search for the missing person is complete.

In addition, we plan to continue investigating and securing data on those involved, and additional charges will be made if allegations are revealed.

In case of any unforeseen possibility, the main persons involved in this case have been banned from leaving the country even though they have not been arrested.

A police official said, "The basic investigation is still in progress."

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Employment and Labor also booked two people, including the site manager (head of safety and health) at the Hyundai Industrial Development Apartment in Gwangju, where the collapse occurred, and the site manager of a concrete frame company, on charges of violating the Industrial Safety and Health Act and launched a separate investigation.
