At the first trial of Bobby Jeong (real name Jeong Dae-wook, 42), a member of the indie band 'Autumn Vacation', who was handed over to trial for assaulting and illegally filming women he was dating, the judge said, "Make a lot of good songs."

The victim's family was also present at the trial.

Senior Judge Kim Seong-dae of the 6th Criminal Division of the Seoul Western District Court held the first trial of Mr. Jung, who was charged with violating the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (photographing using cameras, etc.) and assault yesterday (12th).

In July 2019, Jung was handed over to trial on charges of illegally filming the body of victim A, who was an aspiring singer and lover. Person A complained of suffering, claiming that she had been sexually assaulted and filmed illegally by Mr. Jung, but made an extreme choice in April of the following year.

The police, who received the accusation from the family of Mr. A, forwarded it to the prosecution with an opinion to indict Jung for illegal filming in November 2020 and not to prosecute for rape and personal injury. I did.

At the time, Ms. Jung posted on her social media account, "The past few months have been indescribably painful times. But what is most difficult to bear is the fact that many people have been hurt by the first unconfirmed media reports." I uploaded it.

Jung is also charged with assaulting and illegally filming another woman, B, from July 2020 to September of the same year. In January of last year, the police forensiced Jung's cell phone and computer, secured relevant evidence, and sent it to the prosecution.

Afterwards, as the family of Mr. A complained, the Seoul High Prosecutor's Office ordered the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office to re-investigate Jung's illegal filming allegations.

On the day of the trial, Jung's lawyer argued, "I admit to filming the video itself, but I have obtained the consent of the other party."

Then, regarding the assault charge, he only admitted that he slapped B on the cheek and pulled his right arm, denying the rest.

After setting the next trial date, the presiding judge asked Jung a question that had nothing to do with the trial, saying, "I will ask since the trial is over." "If your job is a composer, do you compose K-pop or classical?"

When Jung replied, "It's popular music, not K-pop," the judge continued with the question, "Is there a song we all know?"

Jung replied, "I don't think so," and the judge said, "I also like music, so I asked. Make a lot of good songs."

A's family was also present at the trial.

A's lawyer pointed out, "It is inappropriate to tell the accused who is being tried for a sex crime, 'Make a lot of good songs.'

After the trial, the father of Mr. A, who died, also burst into anger, saying, "From the investigation agency to the court, it seems to be proceeding from the position of the perpetrator."

Jung's next trial will be held on March 23rd at 3pm.
