In August of last year, Seoul Transportation Corporation held an open bidding to find operators who would sign a station name contract for eight stations including Euljiro 4-ga, Nowon, Ttukseom, Yeoksam, Balsan, and Naebang.



As a result of the bidding, Euljiro 4-ga Station was marked as 'Euljiro 4-ga (BC Card)', Yeoksam Station as 'Yeoksam (Center Field)', and Naebang Station as 'Naebang (Yujung Art Center)'.



The station name arming project first started in 2016, and at that time, no additional projects were carried out after the Seoul Metro and Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation were merged to form the Seoul Transportation Corporation.



However, as the number of passengers decreased due to Corona 19 in the accumulated deficit every year, Seoul Transportation Corporation promoted the station name weapon project again for the first time in five years since the second half of last year to overcome the financial difficulties.
