Today (12th) around 9:50 am, worker A in his 50s, who was dismantling the steel structure on the 4th basement floor of the building under construction, was hit by the structure.



[Witness: I heard that there was an accident in the basement, but I was in the middle of safety training, but the safety training team leader quickly ran out of an accident… .]



It is known that a part of the cylinder fell towards Mr. A in the process of dismantling the iron cylinder that covers the exterior of the pillar until it hardens.



At the time of the accident, Mr. A was dismantling the structure in a group of two with another worker.

Colleagues at the scene attempted CPR on Mr. A, who was in cardiac arrest immediately after the accident.



The 119 rescue team dispatched Ms. A to the hospital, but lost her life.



Major disasters are taking place ahead of the enforcement of the Serious Disaster Punishment Act. On the 20th of last month, two workers who were wearing glass windows fell at a construction site in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, and one person died, and on the 31st, one worker fell to the floor at the construction site of the Seo-gu logistics center in Incheon. died.



The police are investigating whether safety rules have been properly followed against construction site officials and others.
