Lee Seok-jun, who murdered her family last month by visiting the house of a woman who was receiving personal protection measures, said that he bought the victim's address by paying a salesperson. However, as a result of the police investigation, it was confirmed that the person who handed over personal information to this Heungshinso was a ward office official.

It was possible that Lee Seok-jun visited the house with the victim's address on the 10th of last month, through the hands of five contractors from three Heungshin offices.

Lee Seok-jun first handed 500,000 won to Yoon Mo, a 37-year-old business owner, and asked for address information.

As a result of the investigation, it was Mr. A, a ward office official who first handed over information to these entertainment companies.

Mr. A used the vehicle inquiry authority granted to a public official to impose a fine for negligence.

This address information, which was handed over after receiving 20,000 won from the Heungshinso, led to a murder.

[Bereaved Family: There is a problem that the person who bought it with the taxes I paid really harmed me like this. My heart hurts, and I hope that this person (official Mr. A) should be punished.]

Mr. A sold over 1,100 personal information from two years ago until recently, in addition to Lee Seok-jun in this way.

Heungshinso settled the number of personal information inquiry every month and paid it to Mr. A.

The amount that A has collected in two years alone amounts to 40 million won.

Prosecutors said the ward office did not have any security devices to monitor the right to access personal information.

The prosecution applied charges such as violation of the Personal Information Protection Act against Mr. A and three persons involved, including Mr. Yoon, a business owner of an entertainment center, and handed them over to trial under detention.
