is a video uploaded to a social media account on the 7th.

In an indoor workshop with piles of dried squid, a worker in white shoes spreads a bunch of squid on the floor and stomps on it with his feet.

The other worker behind him repeats the same action.

Another video showed him squatting next to a squid being dried and eating his legs.

As the video spread, reports of 'unsanitary' among netizens followed one after another, and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety tracked the company name in boxes etc.

The video was filmed and uploaded by foreign workers at a dried squid packaging and distribution company in Yeongdeok, North Gyeongsang Province.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety found violations such as unsanitary handling of squid, such as stepping on it with work shoes, and workers not wearing sanitary caps and masks, and requested administrative action from the competent authority.

The amount of squid that this company worked from the end of October last year until recently reached 3,800 kg.

According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, squids stored in frozen warehouses were not distributed in the market.

The company said it was done by workers while the CEO was away last week and did not continue the violation.

[Business official: In the process of stepping, if there was an owner or a manager, they cover the plastic and put a blanket on it and step on it.]

Yeongdeok-gun imposes a fine of 700,000 won on the company, and the squid stored in the warehouse meets sanitary standards. I went to check to see if there was a discrepancy.
