A high school student charged with raping and molesting his younger sister for several years was sentenced to prison in the first trial and arrested.

Today (10th), the 12th Criminal Division of the Jeonju District Court (Chief Young-ho Lee) is accused of violating the law on sexual protection of children and adolescents (disgraceful acts such as hierarchies), violation of the Child Welfare Act, etc. He was sentenced to two years in prison and ordered to complete a 120-hour sexual assault treatment program.

Group A is accused of sexually assaulting her sister B, who was 12 years old at the time, in December 2019 by calling her into her room.

In February and March of 2020, group A sexually assaulted Miss B, and in April of the same year, she was reported to have committed a crime by entering the room saying "I want to do business" to Miss B, who was showering alone in the bathroom.

Group A did not stop the crime after that, and it is known that she continued to commit sexual harassment until March of last year, even though Miss B continued to refuse.

When the police started the investigation, the brothers and sisters were separated, but it is said that group A forced sex again with Miss B, whom she met once during the investigation.

In the courtroom, the defense attorney for Army A appealed for leniency, saying, "The accused is deeply regretting the crime, and in a situation where he is separated from the victim, education and edification seem to be more necessary than severe punishment."

He continued, "Usually, Army A has led an exemplary life, and the probation office also judges that the possibility of reoffending is very low.

Ms. B, who initially wanted the punishment of group A during the investigation stage, also revealed to the court her intention to 'do not want to punish her brother' ahead of the first trial.

However, the court detained group A, saying, "No matter how considering the impact on the accused and the victim's family, there is no other way than to sentence him to prison."

The court said, "The fact that the accused is a first-time offender and he is reflecting on his crime, that the victim does not want punishment, and that it is difficult to control sexual impulses as a boy is advantageous." We took into account the fact that when we met temporarily, we asked the victim to have sex again without warning.”
