From today (10th), the quarantine pass is also applied to department stores and large marts. Even if you don't get the vaccine, you can eat alone at restaurants, but you cannot go to department stores and supermarkets by yourself.

From today, you can enter shopping malls larger than 3,000 square meters, marts, department stores, and large bookstores only with a vaccine pass.

If you do not have a certificate of completion of inoculation, you must present a PCR negative confirmation issued within 48 hours.

However, after a one-week guidance period, the crackdown began, and small stores, supermarkets, and local convenience stores were excluded from the application.

Citizen reactions are mixed.

[Lee Yul-ju/Yangcheon-gu, Seoul: Because I am not familiar with the device, the householder's (QR code) does not appear, so I often try to come in and then turn around.]

[Song Han-ul/Gangseo-gu, Seoul: (Check the quarantine pass like a restaurant) ) I am thinking positively about doing the same and equal. I think that we should further reduce (confirmed cases) by enforcing it.]

If the validity period of the quarantine pass is violated, the crackdown will start.

It takes effect 14 days after the second inoculation, and the effect disappears 180 days after the second inoculation.

Currently, 343,000 people who have passed this period and have not yet received the third dose are subject to crackdown.

Starting today, if they use a restaurant or cafe without separate documents such as PCR negative confirmation, they will have to pay a fine of 100,000 won for each number of violations.

Facility operators are also subject to a fine of 1.5 million won for the first violation and 3 million won for the second violation and administrative sanctions such as suspension of operation.

However, if the third inoculation is performed, the quarantine pass will be effective immediately.
