The first official trial, in which former Seongnam Urban Development Corporation Planning Division head Yoo Dong-gyu and those involved in Hwacheon Daeyu, who were indicted in the case of preferential treatment related to the Daejang-dong development, was in attendance at 10:00 am is being held.
The 22nd Criminal Settlement of the Seoul Central District Court is conducting the first trial in the case of former general manager Yoo, lawyer Nam-wook, a major shareholder of Hwacheon Daeyu, former reporter Man-bae Kim, accountant Jeong Young-hak, and lawyer Jeong Min-yong.
Prosecutors report that former general manager Yoo conspired with Mr. Kim and others to drive at least 65.1 billion won in housing land development dividend profits and at least 117.6 billion won in profits to Hwacheon Daeyu, thereby inflicting damage to Seongnam Urban Development Corporation. He was charged with breach of trust under the Economic Crimes Aggravated Punishment Act.
At the trial today (10th), attention is also being paid to whether a full-fledged court battle for the 'Jung Young-hak recording file' will begin.
