After getting to know the victim through an SNS messenger around November 2020, Mr. A went home or sent a text message repeatedly asking to meet. It was also found that the victim was harassing while wandering around the place where he was expected to meet with his acquaintances or near a movie theater.



On May 20, 2021, when the incident occurred, Mr. A asked the victim to unlock his cell phone so that he could see if he was in contact with another man. 



Person A, who was handed the cell phone, confirmed that the victim was communicating with another man, and thought that the reason for refusing to meet with him was because he was meeting this man, so he harbored resentment.



After that, Mr. A, who was heading to Daegu in a rental car with the victim, asked for the victim's cell phone again to monitor contact with the opposite sex. erected.



When the frightened victim fled and asked for help from another vehicle, Mr. A pursued and killed the victim with the weapon he had prepared in advance.



Prior to the crime, it was confirmed that Mr. A planned the crime meticulously by searching in advance for contents such as 'a rare place in Busan', 'it does not open from the passenger seat', and 'Police report cell phone location tracking'.



At the trial, Mr. A was confirmed to have requested a mental evaluation, saying, "I admit to all the charges," but "I suffered from mental problems before the crime and went to the hospital, and was in a state of weakness at the time of the incident."



In response, the court did not accept Mr. A's claim of weakness, saying, "The defendant claimed depression and mental and physical weakness, but as a result of the mental evaluation, it does not appear to be in a state of weakness."
