Candidate Jae-myung Lee countered this when critics were criticized that it could harm health insurance finances and promises to apply for hair loss drug insurance.

[Lee Jae-myung/Democratic Party Candidate: They

say that the financial burden is almost non-existent and it will usually cost about 70 to 80 billion won (won)?]

The actual size of the hair loss drug market is about 120 billion won, and assuming that some of the drug price is covered by health insurance, the national burden is around 70 billion won.

In fact, the 70~80 billion won Lee said is about 0.1% of the 75 trillion won health insurance budget.

However, this calculation method is missing an important variable.

When the price goes down, demand also increases.

There is even an argument that when you simply calculate the hair loss population as 10 million people assuming the maximum, it will cost an additional 3.6 trillion won a year if you eat or apply all of it.

Of course, the Health Insurance Corporation explains that this number of 10 million people with hair loss is also inaccurate.

This means that there is no evidence to support it.

What's more, the decision to purchase a hair loss drug is decisive because it is not taken because it hurts the body.

Even with the same hair loss patient, who has the price dropped?

They will say they will eat while they are doing it, and some people will just live.

The team's judgment is that there is not yet enough data on its own to estimate costs.

The high interest in the hair loss insurance policy is proof that there are many people suffering from hair loss.

Hair loss can be stress, a social cost.

However, if the data and statistics are not clear and the public opinion is too advanced, it can only raise expectations.

Accurate data analysis should also be presented along with public opinion.
