After months of rumors, Xiaomi has finally unveiled its new Xiaomi 12X, 12 and 12 Pro.

The Xiaomi 12 has the smallest screen since the Xiaomi Mi 8. The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a bigger screen, more battery, faster charging and better cameras.

The 12X is presented as a lite version.

AMOLED screens

The Xiaomi 12 and 12X have a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with FullHD + resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. They have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and a fingerprint reader. under the screen.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro's screen retains these characteristics, but is a bit larger.

It has a diameter of 6.73 inches.

A Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor

The Xiaomi 12 range is the first to hit the market with Qualcomm's new flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. However, it will only be available for the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro models.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is advertised as being 20% ​​more powerful than the Snapdragon 888. The Xiaomi 12X will be equipped with a simpler processor, a Snapdragon 870. All models will be available in 8 or 12 GB version of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage.

A Pro version cut for the photo

The Xiaomi 12 and 12X both have the same cameras.

The 50 MP main camera uses a Sony IMX 766 sensor with mechanical image stabilization.

It comes with a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle and a 5 MP macro lens.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro raises the bar higher with its three 50 MP sensors: a main, a wide-angle and an ultra-wide-angle.

It is also capable of recording HDR video in 8K at 24 fps.

Finally, the selfie camera is the same for all models and offers 32 MP.

Fast charging from 67W to 120W

The battery of the Xiaomi 12 is 4,500 mAh with fast charging at 67W and wireless charging at 50 W. The Xiaomi 12X does not have wireless charging.

For its part, the Xiaomi 12 Pro offers a 4,600 mAh battery, with fast charging at 120 W and wireless charging at 50 W.

Only available in China at the moment

Finally, regarding prices, the Xiaomi 12X will be sold (excluding tax) in its basic version from 445 euros, the Xiaomi 12 will be sold from 515 euros and the Xiaomi 12 Pro will be sold from 650 euros.

All three models went on sale on December 31 in China.

For the moment, no release date for the rest of the world has been communicated.
