A woman in her 60s jumped off the track at Baegun Station on Subway Line 1 in the metropolitan area, and the express train service was suspended for about 30 minutes.
At around 8:50 am today (the 4th), a man in his 60s jumped off the track where the express train for Yongsan was entering at Baekun Station in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon.
Fortunately, Mr. A went off the track and rolled down the platform and did not collide with the express train.
However, due to the accident, the express train abruptly stopped and the operation was suspended for about 30 minutes, causing inconveniences such as changing passengers to other trains.
Person A, who suffered minor injuries, was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Korea Railroad Corporation and the Railway Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident by securing CCTV footage.
