Unlike last year, when the beach was closed and the beach was empty, this year, as the sunrise approaches, more and more tourists are coming in.
Already yesterday (31st) afternoon, cars and campers flocked to the beach roadside, and the reservation rate for large accommodations in Gangneung also recorded close to 100%.
Because of this, as sunrise approaches, the beach is expected to be filled with as many people as usual.
The earliest sunrise in 2022 is at 7:26 at Dokdo at the easternmost tip, at 7:32 at Haeundae in Busan, and at 7:40 at Gyeongpo here.
The weather on the east coast of Gangwon is also forecast to be clear, so it is expected that you will be able to properly enjoy the first sunrise of 2022.
