A man in his 20s, who was arrested for sexual assault, was arrested again on the charge of sexual assault eight days after he was released.

The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced today that they are investigating a 22-year-old man A (22) yesterday (27th) on charges such as rape.

Mr. A is accused of hitting woman B in the face and back at her house in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul around 8 pm yesterday.

B was locked up in A's house for about two hours, then escaped and reported to the police, and A was arrested as a current criminal.

On the other hand, on the 19th, Mr. A was also reported to the police on charges of sexual assault, etc.

The police at the time released Mr. A and conducted an investigation without detention because the statements of Mr. A and the victim were sharply different, and there was not enough evidence to prove the charges.

A police official said, "We plan to investigate the case by merging the previous incidents."
