At night, the police arrested a former gangster leader who waged billions of dollars at offices in downtown shopping malls such as Busan and took tens of millions of won in commissions.

The Busan Metropolitan Police Agency's Violent Crime Investigation Team announced that they had detained a 50-year-old man, a former gang leader in Busan, on charges of opening a gambling place, etc. under the Criminal Act, and transferred four people, including an accomplice, Mr. B, in their 50s, without detention.

Person A and others are accused of renting shopping malls or warehouses in Busan and Chungnam from December last year to May of this year and playing so-called Adosaki gambling at night.

After recruiting dozens of gamblers, both men and women, they collected admission fees or a 2% fee per gambling.

They loaned gambling funds to those who ran out of money, and even paid a 10% advance interest.

The total amount of money they waged reached hundreds of millions of won, and the fees and advance interest they collected amounted to tens of millions of won, the police explained.

A and others installed a closed circuit TV at the entrance of the office to avoid police crackdowns.

The police got the information and started investigating, arresting Mr. A, etc., and checking the gambling participants.
