The president of a factory has been charged with illegally filming using a special mirror that allows you to see the other side only from one side. Such a special mirror was installed in the shower room of the employees, but the police are investigating whether there have been additional crimes.

Reporter Lee Seong-hoon reported exclusively.

This is the video recording and investigation room where the investigation agency interrogates the suspects.

There is one mirror on the wall, which is a special mirror called a 'magic mirror' or 'translucent mirror'.

From the inside it looks like a mirror, but from the outside you can see inside.

A special mirror used only by investigative agencies was found at a manufacturing plant in Gyeonggi-do.

Yesterday (27th) afternoon, foreign worker A, while using the factory shower room, felt a twinkling light through the mirror and reported it to the police.

The police arrived and confirmed that the factory president, Mr. B, had installed a special mirror in the employee shower room.

We also found a secret space in the president's office opposite the shower room.

The police also caught the charge that Mr. B secretly filmed Mr. A, who appears to be a special mirror in a secret space, with a mobile phone, and charged Mr. B.

In a call with SBS reporters, Mr. B said, "I did something impossible" and "I installed a mirror a long time ago."

It is known that Mr. A, who was immediately separated from the suspect, is receiving separate protective measures.

The police will request a digital forensic for the cell phone submitted by Mr. B, and soon will call Mr. B to investigate the motive for the crime and whether there are additional crimes.

However, there is a part that needs to be looked into a little more in this case. Reporter Lee Seong-hoon, who covered the story, is here.

Q. Is it sold commercially?

[Reporter Lee Seong-hoon: So, we went to the Euljiro glass market to check if these special mirrors are actually sold on the market.]

[Glass shop owner: You can see in a bright place in a dark place, but not in a dark place in a light, Han. 384,000 won per sheet. (It takes a few days?) It takes a day or two.]

[Reporter Seong-Hoon Lee: You can get it right away if you pay like this. The answer came back. When making a mirror, a material that reflects light is applied behind it. This is the principle that a small amount of this material is used and some light is transmitted. It is said that craftsmen and interior designers usually buy them, but it was such a structure that ordinary people could easily obtain them anytime they wanted. The suspect also sells everything at the mirror shop to the reporter's question where he bought the mirror.]

Q. Burned out at the crime scene?

[Reporter Lee Seong-hoon: I went straight to the factory today to cover this case. It was a situation where the factory building had already been completely burned down, leaving only the bare bones. The scene disappeared completely within one day after the victim reported it to the police. Reporter Suwon Sookwook covered the reason why this happened.]

This is a manufacturing plant in Gyeonggi-do where a special mirror was found in an employee's shower room.

A day after the police were dispatched, for some reason, only the burnt wreckage remained black.

This is where the factory used to be.

However, due to a fire this morning, only the exterior remains bare and the interior is all burned down.

At around 3:40 am this morning, a fire of unknown origin broke out in this factory.

The fire burned the entire factory building and internal furnishings, and was extinguished in 5 hours and 20 minutes.

[Witness: I think there was a fire here. Because this is the kitchen. I was sleeping alone. When I woke up at dawn to go to the bathroom, I came out in my underwear and asked to report it.] About

14 hours after it was reported to the police, a fire broke out and the entire factory burned down.

The office container where the special mirror was installed also crashed down, damaging the evidence of the crime.

As a result of the first investigation, the police and fire department are presuming that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit at the workplace.

Factory boss B claimed in a phone call with SBS reporters, saying, 'This fire is suspected to be an arson committed by workers of the same nationality as victim A' with a grudge against them.

It is expected that an on-the-spot forensics will be carried out by next week at the latest, and the police plan to investigate with all circumstances in mind, including the possibility of arson.
