"It's too cold at the end of the year, and I'm leaving my small wish in a dark place waiting for a warm touch this year, though it's small."

A neat handwritten letter placed on 60 bags of 10kg rice.

The 'faceless angel' visited Yongjin-eup, Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do this year as well.

According to the Yongjin-eup Administrative Welfare Center today (27th), 60 bags of 10kg white rice were piled up at the entrance of the civil service center at dawn on that day.

An anonymous donor who did not reveal his identity also left a friendly handwritten letter along with rice.

The warm good deeds of the Faceless Angel, which started in 2008, are already 14 years old this year.

He has donated a total of 420 bags, or 8,400 kg, of rice so far.

Yongjin-eup Mayor Han Shin-hyo said, "The sharing of the faceless angel that continues every year is deeply moving our neighbors. I am especially grateful that it will be a great gift for our residents who are tired of the ongoing Corona 19 situation. The warm heart of an angel I will pass it on to my neighbors in need.”

The donated rice will be delivered to neighbors in need in the area according to the donor's wishes.

Meanwhile, Jangdan Lee of Yongjin-eup has been participating in sharing for neighbors in need by farming rice every year since 2016 to repay the 'sharing of faceless angels'.

This year, from planting to harvest, we shared a total of 3,500kg of 10kg rice, 350 bags of rice, with the residents of Wanju, in honor of the Faceless Angel.

This is a 'news pick'.
