The organization's morale is plummeting as the high-ranking public officials' crime investigation agency (the Airborne Division) continues to criticize it as a 'inspection' over the extensive communication data search conducted during the investigation process.

Kim Jin-wook, the chief of the Airborne Division, is being held accountable by some, but even voices of his resignation are raised, but in fact, Director Kim remains silent without expressing any position.

According to the legal community today (23rd), as it was revealed one after another that communication data inquiries were made not only by the media and politicians, but also by the general public as a 'trawler' method, and the Airborne Service is trapped in a 'temple' frame.

In a situation where the presidential election clock is running fast, there is not enough time to finish the investigation of presidential candidate Yoon Seok-yeol, the power of the people.

Already, in connection with the investigation of 'indictment,' the warrants for Prosecutor Son Jun-sung's warrants were dismissed three times in a row in the courts, and the agency was in a situation of fraud.

Then, controversy arose about the temple, and there are reports that the atmosphere inside the Airborne Service was frozen to the point that it was impossible to bring out a word easily.

The problem is that Kim Jin-wook, the head of the Airborne Department, who has to rectify the situation, is not visible.

Director Kim, who should find a breakthrough in the temple controversy, is not showing any reaction.

Although there are concerns about the system itself stating that communication data inquiry infringes on basic rights, it is a commonly used investigation technique so that the prosecution and the police have inquired about 5.5 million cases last year alone.

This is the reason why voices of dissatisfaction are being voiced within the Airborne Service over the fact that only the Airborne Service is designated as a temple, and that Director Kim does not actively defend, let alone respond, to an attack.

In response to Director Kim's inaction, the people's power is raising the level of offensive that the party should not only resign, but also dismantle the airborne service itself by conducting a full investigation into whether the Airborne Service has inquired about communication data.

Since the Ministry of Airborne Affairs has so far booked at least three members of the party, including Candidate Yun, Ung Kim, and Jeom-sik Jeong, it is highly probable that they obtained a warrant from the court to understand the communication details.

In other words, it seems that all the lawmakers who spoke to them at least once were the target of the communication data inquiry of the Airborne Service.

It has already been confirmed that seven people have already been inquired about the members of the People's Power, and when the final investigation result comes out, it is even predicted that they will have searched up to half of the members of the House of Representatives.

If there are additional cases of inquiry of communication data about civilians as well as the media and political circles, the air defense agency is more likely to be on the defensive.

Director Kim has already been accused by the prosecution.

The parties to the inquiry are in a position to explain the specific reason for the inquiry, but the Ministry of Public Safety and Security simply repeats the official position of “following due process”.

Seung Jae-hyeon, a research fellow at the Korea Institute for Criminal Justice Policy, pointed out, "There is a problem with the disclosure of the facts of the suspect, but as the parties request an explanation, it is necessary to transparently resolve the controversy through some explanation for the public interest."

Professor Chang-hyeon Lee of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Law School said, "You can search for correspondence data even if you are not a suspect, but it should be strictly limited."
