Google was forced to disable two options on its Pixel 6. The appearance of many bugs on smartphones after the update deployed in early December forced the company to take action, reports

.

Ironically, the December update was supposed to fix bugs that have appeared on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro since their release, such as random calls and fingerprint reader malfunctions.

These bugs are gone but have been replaced by others.

On the Internet, many users have reported malfunctions on calls and SMS and a fragile mobile connection.

No more call screening

The American giant has so far found only one solution: to deactivate the “Hold for Me” and “Call Screening” options of smartphones.

The first allows Google Assistant to wait for the user when the latter is asked to wait during a call.

The second filters phone calls by identifying the caller and their purpose.

Disabling these two options should resolve several bugs related to

the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro's

malfunction

.

Unfortunately, users will have to wait for an unknown amount of time before finding these two very useful features.
