A comedian-turned-trot singer, Kim Jin-hyuk, 34 years old, was arrested by the police for a drunk driving accident.
According to the Incheon Namdong Police Station, Kim is accused of driving his Mini Cooper vehicle while drunk in a parking lot in Guwol-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon around midnight on the 18th and crashing into two parked cars.
The driver of one of the parked vehicles was injured in the accident and taken to hospital.
Kim's blood alcohol level measured by the police at the time was found to correspond to the level of license suspension.
As a result of police investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Kim was driving his car drunk and trying to get out of the parking lot and ran into parked cars one after another.
A police official said, "An investigation into Mr. Kim has not been conducted yet."
