A man in his 50s who disguised himself as a woman and committed theft to confuse the police investigation has been arrested.
Gyeonggi Pocheon Police Station announced today (21st) that they had arrested A on charges of theft.
Person A is accused of breaking the glass of a car parked twice in a public parking lot in Pocheon City around 4:30 am on the 6th of last month and stealing 100,000 won in cash and pouches.
The police, who started an investigation after a report from the owner of the vehicle, started to trace the escape route by analyzing closed circuit (CC) TV.
The police determined that A was wearing a miniskirt, so it was a woman.
However, in the course of tracking down, it was confirmed that Mr. A was a man disguised as a woman.
A scene was caught urinating on the street, and CCTV showed her raising her skirt without wearing underwear.
On the 17th, the police arrested Mr. A in Jeongseon, Gangwon.
Person A admitted to the police investigation, "I dressed as a woman to confuse the investigation."
Person A, who has a criminal record of the same type and whose residence is not uniform, was arrested.
The police are investigating whether A is guilty of any other crimes.
