On the 21st, Chief Judge Andong-beom of the 12th Criminal Settlement of the Seoul Western District Court sentenced Kim and Mo Ahn, a 20-year-old man who was indicted on charges of retaliatory murder under the Special Act and joint coercion, joint blackmail, and joint assault under the Violence Act, respectively. sentenced to 30 years and ordered to attach electronic devices for 10 years.



Mo Cha, a friend of the people who was brought to trial on the charge of stealing for-profit drugs, was sentenced to 10 months in prison and 2 years of probation.



The court explained the reason for the sentencing, saying, "The guilt is very heavy, such as continuously committing sadistic crimes using the characteristics of the victim who is not good at rejecting due to lack of cognitive ability."



"The victim must have felt severe mental and physical pain and frustration while being subjected to harsh treatment," he said.



He also said, "Even though the victim recognized the emergency, such as difficulty breathing, he did not take appropriate measures, such as loosening the bond or transferring him to the hospital."



"The sentence was decided in consideration of the fact that the defendants did not reflect and were not forgiven by the bereaved family," he said.



Previously, the prosecution requested life imprisonment for Kim and Ahn, respectively, and three years for Cha.



They are accused of detaining victim A from April this year, starving and assaulting him, and causing A to die of pneumonia and malnutrition on June 13.



It was investigated that they had assaulted a friend several times since September last year saying that his friend A had damaged his laptop, and that they had been detained for the purpose of retaliation after Mr. A sued him.
