The Dutch authority for nuclear safety and radiation protection (ANVS) has issued a warning on ten products called anti-5G collars that it found to emit harmful ionizing radiation.

In this way, he urged people not to use the products, which could cause harm with prolonged use, according to the

BBC

.

There is no evidence that 5G networks are harmful to health.

The World Health Organization says that 5G mobile networks are secure and not fundamentally different from existing 3G and 4G signals.

Mobile networks use non-ionizing radio waves that do not damage DNA.

Despite this, there have been

attacks on transmitters

by people who believe they are harmful.

Products identified included a

sleep mask

,

bracelet

and

"Energy Armor" necklace

.

A

Magnetix Wellness brand

children's bracelet

was also found to

emit radiation.

"Do not use it anymore, store it safely and wait for return instructions," ANVS said in a statement.

"Sellers in the Netherlands known to the ANVS have been told that

the sale is prohibited and must stop immediately

, and that they must inform their customers about this," the note added.

Conspiracy theories have fueled a market for "anti-5G" devices that typically have no effect.

In May 2020,

UK

trade standards

sought to halt sales

of a 339-pound USB stick that claimed to offer "protection" against 5G.

The

so-called "anti-radiation stickers"

have also been

sold on Amazon

, although it is now out of sale.
