Cosmonaut Borisenko spoke about the flight of Japanese space tourists on the Soyuz MS-20

He answered the question if the astronauts are offended that they are doing a titanic job for flights, but now wealthy space tourists can also fly to the ISS.

Borisenko said that a special separate Soyuz spacecraft was being built for the flight of Japanese space tourists, and "no one took anyone's place."

“There is no difficulty in the fact that this ship was specially built, laid for this space flight.

That is, it was not a flight instead of one or two professional cosmonauts, ”Borisenko said.

He clarified that the ship was laid down on the basis of a contract with the tourist crew. 

Previously, the descent vehicle of the Soyuz MS-20 spacecraft carrying Japanese tourists Yusaku Maezawa and Yozo Hirano, as well as Russian cosmonaut Alexander Misurkin, landed in Kazakhstan.
