Soccer player Ki Seong-yong, who filed a criminal complaint against those who raised suspicions of sexual assault on a junior in elementary school on charges of defamation, etc., appeared at the police today (17th).

At around 12:10 pm, Ki Seong-yong, who appeared at the Seocho Police Station in Seoul, avoided an immediate answer to the question related to the investigation, saying, "I will tell you after I receive the investigation."

Two people who raised allegations of sexual violence against Ki Sung-yong were also reported to have appeared at the police today, and a cross-examination between both sides is expected.

Earlier, in February, Mr. A and Mr. B claimed that they were sexually assaulted by senior players including Ki Seong-yong in early 2000, when they were playing soccer at an elementary school in Jeollanam-do.

Ki Sung-yong's side, claiming innocence, filed a criminal complaint and a claim for damages of 500 million won against the allegations of sexual violence in March.
