A man in his 20s who entered the house of a child sex offender Jo Doo-soon (69) and assaulted Cho's head with a blunt was found to have tried to scare him out of anger over his past sex crimes.

Ansan Danwon Police Station in Gyeonggi Province today (17th) applied for an arrest warrant for A (21), who was arrested yesterday for special injuries.

Mr. A is suspected of hitting Cho's head several times with a blunt machine at the multi-family house where Cho lives in Danwon-gu, Ansan-si around 8:50 pm yesterday.

He was a daily worker at a distribution center in Gyeonggi-do, and it was investigated that he felt hostile to Mr.

In front of Mr. Cho's house, he introduced himself as a police officer and knocked on the front door, and when Mr. Cho opened the door, he was arguing with abusive language and was found to have wielded a blunt weapon inside the house.

Immediately after the assault, Jo's wife, who was with him at the scene, ran straight to the police security center about 20 meters away from the multi-family house and reported the damage.

After that, a police officer dispatched to the scene subdued Mr. A, who was arguing with Mr. Cho, and arrested the current criminal.

Cho received hospital treatment for some torn wounds on his face, but it was confirmed that it was not a serious injury.

Afterwards, Cho replied, "I'm sorry. It all happened because of me..."

During the police investigation, Mr. A is said to have stated, "I was angry about the sex crime that Mr. Cho had committed, and I went to the house with the intention of instilling fear."

A was recently diagnosed with a mental illness, and it is reported that he is currently receiving medication.

At around 5 pm on February 9th, he was caught by the police while trying to enter Cho's residence carrying a bag with a weapon, saying he would punish Mr. Cho, and was charged with trespassing.

At the time, the police patrolling the area were suspicious of Mr. A's behavior, and as he passed through the common entrance of the villa to Mr. Jo's house, he interrogated him at the stairs, checked the weapon, and stopped him.

At the time, it was also known that Mr. Cho was in the house.
