<Anchor> The

talk that it is possible to manipulate the quarantine pass has been circulating around the Internet recently. Reports like that came in from the reporters, so we did the experiment ourselves. As a result, it was actually possible to capture someone else's stuff and use it or manipulate the voice confirmation text. There is a hole in the quarantine pass.

This is the exclusive report by Park Jae-hyung.

The QR code given to each individual changes every 15 seconds.

After 15 seconds, you will be given a new code, but if you try to use the old QR code, you will see a message that it has expired.

However, there were loopholes in this system.

The reporters installed and tested the QR code reader app.

Vaccination certificate is obtained by scanning the QR code as when a person who has completed vaccination enters a restaurant or cafe.

After 3 minutes, create a new QR code, capture the screen, and send it to others via SNS.

If you show the screen capture of someone else's QR code, it will be authenticated without any problem.

If you leave an interval of 3 minutes, other people's QR codes will also pass safely.

An unvaccinated person can turn into a person who has been vaccinated.

There is another problem.

Most users present their vaccination certificate through the Naver or KakaoTalk app, but if two people log in with one KakaoTalk and one Naver app, they can use both at the same time.

If you only know someone else's Kakao or Naver ID, you can get vaccine authentication in that person's name.

PCR test negative certificates used in place of QR codes are also full of loopholes.

You can only use the certificate issued within 48 hours before entry, but since it comes via text message, you can simply copy and paste and change the date.

[Informant: If you use it with friends or co-workers, you are giving out your ID or password.

Giving and exchanging certain gift cards...

Conversations are coming and going on SNS about using this expedient to manipulate QR codes or PCR test voice messages.

[Informant: I saw people carrying it around, but the only thing to check is that this person is a voice and that date and time...

I thought it was very lax.] The

quarantine authorities said that there may be loopholes because it is in the early stages of implementation.
