A 20-year-old Taekwondo instructor who assaulted an elementary school member for not following instructions and forced him to compete with a middle school student has been arrested by the police.



Yesterday (16th), Incheon Gyeyang Police Station announced that they had booked a 20-year-old Taekwondo instructor A without detention on charges of child abuse.



It was investigated that Mr. A kicked and assaulted group B of an 11-year-old elementary school student at a Taekwondo studio on the 12th of last month, and ordered him to compete with a member of a middle school student whose weight class did not match for 10 minutes.



The protector of Group B claimed, "(Group B) was assaulted by a middle school student who looked more than 30 cm tall with the excuse of sparring."



He added, "Instructor A ordered the other members to bring scissors and threatened the child with the scissors."



Person A claimed to the guardian of Group B, "I only instructed the child after hearing the child use profanity."
