In the process of arresting and investigating a man A in his 20s on suspicion of special injuries, the police found that Mr. A went to Jo Doo-soon's residence and introduced himself as a policeman and knocked on the front door.
As soon as Jo Doo-soon opened the door, the police believe that Mr. A entered the house and struck Jo Doo-soon on the head.
Earlier, on February 9, at around 5 pm, Mr. A was arrested by the police on charges of trespassing into Jo Doo-soon's house, carrying a bag with a weapon, saying he would punish Jo Doo-soon.
At the time, Mr. A was known to have stated in the police investigation, "I can live only if I punish Jo Doo-soon."
The police will soon receive a victim statement from Jo Doo-soon.
