It was confirmed that the police and the Ministry of Employment and Labor had discovered several situations of non-safety measures with three workers killed by a construction machine in Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 1st.



According to SBS coverage, Gyeonggi Anyang Bay Police Station and the Anyang Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor had a meeting yesterday (14th) to share the investigation details at the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office.



As a result of the investigation, it was revealed that there were four signal officers at the scene at the time of the accident, but they were all doing other things.



We also secured a statement that the work plan was not written properly and safety training was insufficient.



Based on the contents of the investigation, the police plan to file a case with the company representative and safety management officer around next week.



The Ministry of Employment and Labor also plans to file investigations with the on-site manager, as well as the subcontractors and subcontractors.



The Ministry of Employment and Labor is investigating violations of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, while the police are investigating violations of the Electricity Business Act related to negligent manslaughter and subcontracting.



The machine operator, who was arrested on charges of manslaughter on the job, was handed over to the prosecution yesterday.



The accident occurred on the 1st at around 5:50 pm on a road in Anyang-dong, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, when a construction machine hit three male workers in their 60s while laying a telecommunication pipe.



The driver got out of the driver's seat to remove the safety cap that touched the wheel of the machine, and his jacket touched the gear.



The workers were taken to hospital in traumatic cardiac arrest, but all died.
