The short answer to the question posed by the owner is simple: a delicious coffee with easy handling via a touch screen and quality components.

The long answer is what comes below.

At a time when most offices and people who are not fans of the coffee-making process are betting on almost automated machines that use capsules, there are brands like Oracle that try to bring the experience of bar coffee makers to homes.

The Oracle Touch is the most expensive and highest-end coffee maker of all that they make, while the Oracle The Bambino is one of the latest, more affordable models they have released.

The company more or less adapts to everyone's pockets, but The Bambino still costs 350 euros.

Compared to a Nesspresso that costs 60 euros, one may think that it does not compensate;

But if you have a palate made for good coffee or want to control the process of making it more, you are going to need coffee machines that are somewhat more expensive and that require some maintenance.

In the case of the Oracle Touch, everything is as simple as possible, from the installation of the water filter to the setting of the water hardness, the setting of the coarsest or finest grind of the bean, the type of coffee you want to make. .. The coffeemaker's touch screen and well-thought-out tutorials for doing all of this and more are a plus for the coffeemaker.

Making coffee is simple. You turn it on and, while the components are heating up, you select the type of coffee you are going to make from a list that goes from American to cappuccino, through latte, espresso and many more. While doing this, you can also fit the filter over the ground coffee spout. You have to use whole grain, which is stored in a small compartment at the top of the coffee maker. And when the machine is hot, you fit the filter into the water outlet so that the coffee is filtered over the cup in the precise amount for the type of coffee you have chosen to make.

If he is an American, hot water will also fall.

If it is a coffee with milk, you will have to heat the milk in the frother, the spout on the right side that has a thermometer to know how much you are heating the milk.

The coffee maker comes with an aluminum jug so that you can heat the milk every time and that is easy to clean.

The process explained sounds more complicated than it really is, but it is simple and the result is excellent.

This coffee maker has ruined my coffee palate because any other coffee tastes much worse to me because not everyone, in bars, coffee shops or in their most humble coffee makers, can control so much coffee filtering.

It's not your fault, it's the coffeemaker's 'fault'.

If you want a more personalized coffee, you can adjust many parameters. It is possible to touch the filter time of the coffee (but not how much water made, only the time that you are wetting and filtering water through the ground bean) and use a smaller filter to make espressos. If your taste is very refined, you are going to touch all the possible parameters to make the coffee that you want at all times. A solo length or a ristretto is not the same. That is why you can save and name the coffee you have configured, in case the automatic selection of the machine is not enough.

Be that as it may, the big complication with a coffee maker like this is maintenance.

Not because it is tedious, which is a bit so when it asks you to descale it once every three months;

but because you have to do it if you don't want to be left with a coffee pot that has been smashed and that makes a worse coffee after a year.

The normal thing is that you clean the outside of the frother with a damp cloth after each use, as its interior is cleaned automatically each time you heat milk.

Also that you clean the filter with a handle with pressure water and that you waste a little water to clean the circuit after each use or after making several coffees in a row.

The coffee maker includes several cleaning tools, which you can conveniently hide under the tray where you rest the cups and where dirty water or milk residues fall.

All these elements of simplicity I suspect are the ones that drive up the price of the coffee maker so much along with the touch screen interface.

Its construction is also partly responsible: components like the filter with handle are made of aluminum, they are tough and consist of few pieces, so they do not look like they are going to loosen or break no matter how much you use it.

The tray has plastic parts inside, but its construction is also metal and it is very easy to clean.

And both the tray to introduce water and the tank are made of very hard materials and, in the case of the first, they have an oleophobic layer that makes the water always fall into the tank and not remain staining or being able to damage parts if it leaks where should not.

From the first use, the coffee maker makes it clear that it is a high-end product and works as such. Perhaps that is why you have to take its use a bit seriously and take care of it. It is one of the things that during my testing time I was quite clear, that in exchange for an excellent coffee, I had to worry a little about this object in my kitchen that was taking up a lot of space, but it helped me wake up in the morning better than no other coffee pot I have ever owned.

It does not matter what type of coffee you drink, stronger or less strong, with milk or American, espresso and burning or long and fresher.

They all taste very good.

And it doesn't matter so much what brand of coffee you use.

While it's important to use a fresh, scented bean, the filtering process is what makes the final product just the right bitterness and acidity.

Where this coffee maker shines is in the plain, simple and pure coffee;

But even the latte tastes much better than the one at the corner bar.

Is it worth paying 2,600 euros for a coffee maker?

That depends on the pocket of each one.

Unfortunately I cannot afford it, but I am clear now, unfortunately, that a more expensive coffee maker offers simplicity in handling and maintenance that other coffee machines do not offer because that would make them more expensive.

But if you are looking to treat yourself to the whim of your life or you are a coffee addict who has a plunger coffee maker, a filter coffee maker and another mocha to make you a different coffee every day, but you also want a quality machine to go a little faster ;

Oracle The Touch may be a product for you.
