A man in his 40s who abused and killed 10 adopted dogs in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do has been arrested by the police.



According to the police today (7th), the Gunsan Police Station has booked and investigated 41-year-old A on charges of violating the Animal Protection Act.



Mr. A is accused of adopting 19 puppies, including poodles, from March to October, tortured them, and then abandoned the corpses.



It was investigated that Mr. A caused the dog to be in extreme pain by drowning it in the water, making it impossible to breathe or touching the fire.

It was also revealed that the dog was given sleeping pills to avoid detection.



Mr. A, who works for a public company, killed a dog and buried the body in the flower bed of his office building.

Police said they found the bodies of several dogs during on-site inspections.



As a result of an autopsy of the dog's body, traces of abuse were found in various places, including fractures of the skull and mandible, and burn scars throughout the body.




Mr. A is said to have been surrounded by dog ​​owners saying, "Is the dog okay?"



Cha Eun-young, the head of Gunsan Street Cat Care, found this suspicious and visited Mr. A on the 29th of last month, and after long persuasion, he got his confession.



The police, who rushed to the scene after receiving a report from CEO Cha, made an urgent arrest for Mr.

A police official said, "There may be other adopted dogs other than the dogs we have identified so far, so we are conducting an additional investigation against Mr. A."
