<Anchor> There

was a report from the National Park Service under the Ministry of Environment complaining about workplace harassment. Bullying and insulting remarks continued about new employees who had just joined the company for a few months, but the employees who could not stand it were receiving psychiatric treatment.

First, reporter Park Chan-beom reports.

<Reporter> This

is what Kim Mo, a new employee, heard from the seniors in the same office.

[Senior Commentator: When you think about it, do you think you will be able to work here? Think for yourself.]

[Damage Commentator: I'm trying to do well, but a little... ]

[Senior commentator: Are you trying to do well?]

[Damage commentator: Trying to be good… ]

[Senior Commentator: But can we say that we are trying?] About

half a year after joining the company, Mr. Kim began to hear comments from his seniors that seemed to pressure him to retire.

[Mr. Kim / Victim: After hearing that, I thought it would be good to talk to my friends a little bit and carry a recorder... .]

Mr. Kim got a job as a commentator at the National Park Service in April.

Kim asserts that the harassment began because he was not good at work while explaining nature and history to tourists who visited the national park.

A number of offensive remarks are included in the conversation between them.

[Mr. A/Senior Commentator: Fix it if it doesn't work like this, fix it if it doesn't work like that. I'm not even an elementary school student or a kindergartener.

.] When

he refuses to retire, he even threatens to outright bully him.

[Mr. B/Senior Commentator: I think teacher ○○ (victim) should take care of everything.

From now on, we will not care about teacher ○○ (victim) at all, okay?] It

is similar to the so-called 'burning' in which seniors bully new employees physically and mentally under the pretext of education.

Mr. Kim has even gotten sick amid bullying by his seniors and is receiving drug treatment.

[Mr. A/Senior Commentator: I think it would have been nice if it was a part that fused well together, but we were also in a stressful position…

.] In the

end, Mr. Kim filed a complaint to the Chungju Office of the Daejeon Regional Employment and Labor Office to receive official recognition of workplace harassment.
