Today (30th) will be cloudy across the country and a lot of rain, but most of it will stop at night.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that rain in the west will spread to the whole country in the morning and will stop mostly at night due to the influence of the low pressure moving northeast from the central part of the West Sea.

As the temperature drops in the afternoon, rain will change to snow in the metropolitan area, Gangwon inland and mountainous areas, Chungcheong inland, Jeolla eastern inland, Gyeongsang western inland, and Jeju Island.

Until this morning, there will be strong rains of 10 to 20 mm per hour accompanied by gusts of wind and thunder and lightning in the western regions including the metropolitan area and throughout the country during the day.

The expected precipitation between today and the 1st of next month is 20 to 60 mm in the southern coast, near Mt. Jiris, and on Jeju Island.

In the rest of the country, 5 to 40 mm of rain is expected.

During the same period, snow is expected to fall 2 to 7 cm in the mountainous regions of Jeju and Gangwon, and 1 to 3 cm in the inland of Gangwon, central and southern Chungbuk, and inland of Jeollabuk-do.

1cm of snow was predicted in eastern Gyeonggi, North Chungcheong, Chungnam, western inland Gyeongsang, 5 West Sea Islands, Ulleungdo and Dokdo.

In areas with rain or snow between today and the 1st of next month, visibility will be short and roads will be slippery.

In addition, from this afternoon onwards, there will be places where snow will fall and accumulate due to the drop in temperature, and there may be snow or snow that has fallen, causing thin ice on the road.

A heavy rain advisory has been issued for the mountainous areas of Jeju Island, the southern part, and the eastern part.

Between today and the 1st of next month, the wind will blow very strongly on the coast of the country and the Gangwon Mountains at 35-60 km/h and instantaneous wind speeds of over 70 km/h (110 km/h in the Gangwon Mountains).

Currently, a strong wind advisory has been issued for Jeju, Incheon, Gyeonggi, Jeolla, and Chungnam.

In other regions, the wind will blow strongly with an instantaneous wind speed of around 60 km/h (17 m/s).

While a storm warning has been announced in the far seas outside the West Sea, winds are expected to blow very strongly at 35-70 km/h in all other seas this morning.

The waves rise very high at 1.5 to 4.0 m offshore and 3.0 to 6.0 m in the distant sea, and a storm warning has been issued for the central west coast and the southern west coast.

In addition, there will be many places where there will be thunder and lightning along with a gust of wind across the sea.

As cold air from the northwest gradually moves south from this afternoon, the morning temperature on the 1st of next month will drop by about 10 degrees larger than today.

The wind will be very strong and the temperature will feel even colder.

The morning of tomorrow, December 1, the lowest temperature will be -6 to 4 degrees, and the highest temperature during the day will be 1 to 9 degrees.
