A famous high school baseball coach in Seoul has been sent to the prosecution on charges of taking money from parents after receiving a request for entrance exams.

According to the Suseo Police Station, manager A of the baseball club at a famous private high school in Seoul received money from the parents of player B to enter college and took money one after another.

It was revealed that he received an additional 10 million won in March, starting with 3 million won in cash in February.

However, coach A had pitcher B pitch only 0.2 innings, and player B did not meet the college entrance criteria.

Then the parents visited the school and exposed the solicitation for the entrance exam, but the school's response was absurd.

On the same day, coach A called player B and persuaded his father to convince him of an agreement.

Parents, who determined that the school had no will to solve the problem, filed a complaint with the Office of Education, and then the school gave Supervisor A a blunt disciplinary action, suspension of duties for one month.

And I filed a complaint with the police against Director A and his parents for violating the so-called 'Kim Young-ran Act'.

Director A denied the allegations during the police investigation, and the police sent Director A to the prosecution with an opinion of indictment for violating the Anti-Graft Act.

It was revealed that Director A requested not only cash, but also a wreath of tribute and repair of his car, and it is known that the amount received was 19 million won.

In response, the school said, "I have never persuaded the parents, the director has already been disciplined, and we are just waiting for a judicial decision."

Director A did not respond to SBS's contact.
